Stylish fixed frame awnings can be tailormade in almost any shape and size to meet your need for weather protection. Fixed frame awnings are made from an aluminum frame with a cover stretched over the top. Designed and produced with knowledge of the prevailing weather conditions they will need to stand up to, fixed awnings are bolted to the side of the building to guarantee shelter from the weather will always be available.
Awnings can provide shade inside a room to protect carpets, wallpaper and furnishings against sun damage while at the same time protecting the patio furniture and fittings from sun and rain damage.
Fixed frame awnings come in a variety of colours and two types of fabric, being the "Sunbrella" range and our PVC range, the PVC covers can also be sign written for entranceways to businesses adding an extra dimension to your advertising.
Lateral arm rollaway awnings can be adjusted to match your requirements for sun and rain protection. They are easily operated by either a manual (crank handle) or automatic extend/retract mechanism - usually either a switch control or a remote control. The awning is wall mounted on brackets (one for every meter), and has tilt mount settings that allow you to set the angle of the arm to maximise your sun protection. The arm can extend from 1.5m to 3m from the building.
Lateral arm awnings are versatile and easy to use, winding in and out with ease to allow you to respond quickly to changing weather conditions. Wind and rain sensors can also be fitted to automatically provide you with optimal protection from sun and rain, and to protect the the awning from damage in severe weather conditions.
We use "Sunbrella" acrylic marine canvas for the cover, which is available in a range of colours.
SHELTER FROM SHADE AND SUN
Where space is at a premium and the use of poles is not an option, one of our fixed frame awnings or lateral arm rollaway awnings can provide excellent shelter from the sun and rain.

TRANSPARENT PVC
Highly durable, transparent PVC blocks 100% UV, rain, and wind. PVC blinds are lightweight and easy for one person to operate. PVC edges are bound with a coloured trim and you have a choice from a range of colours. Allows natural light to pass through and provides easy visibility in both directions. Ideal for situations where full weather protection is required along with full visibility.

WARRANTY
Lidgard awnings are guaranteed against defects in fabric or workmanship within 12 months from the date of purchase. Any such defects will be rectified free of charge by Lidgard Shades. In addition, the fabric has a 10 year manufacturer's warranty against UV degradation. Terms and conditions apply and are provided in a written warranty at time of purchase.
