Lidgard Shades have almost forty years experience in custom sail design and production. We have an outstanding track record for successful delivery and installation of shade solutions throughout New Zealand, and an enviable record for service excellence.

Our staff are well qualified and highly experienced in sail production, and they are knowledgeable about the ins and outs of local weather conditions. We design, produce and manufacture our shade sails and roller blinds in New Zealand at our Takapuna factory. We combine our knowledge and experience with state of the art sail design technology, robust manufacturing processes, and attention to every detail to produce shade solutions which will stand up to the weather.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES AT LIDGARD SHADES:

SHADE AGENTS - Lidgard Shades is growing. To help the team to provide service throughout New Zealand, the company wishes to appoint local Shade Agents nation wide. All areas are currently available except Greater Auckland. Appointed agents will be part of a network of specialised shade protection providers with a proven, high quality product to sell and install. They will receive supportive design advice, and marketing materials (web site and brochure) to support local efforts.

Shade Agents are responsible for consulting with clients to develop a design concept, liasing with Lidgard Shades personnel to prepare indicative drawings, specifications and cost estimate. Once the design and cosings are approved by the customer, the Agent arranges with local suppliers for provision of steel posts to specification to be installed. The Agent takes precise measures from the installed posts before the cloth is cut and the sails are produced to measure. Installation follows the provision of the shade sails, accessories, blinds and/or awnings by producer/distributor Lidgard Shades Limited Auckland. The Agent has the right to market and install in theior local area the products supplied by the Distributor.

As concept, design and installation requirements will vary from site to site, applicants ideally should have a flair for design and some knowledge of the building/construction industry. Sound marketing, sales and customer service skills are also required.

Lidgard Shades is committed to ensuring that high and effective standards are maintained in all areas of operation. Accordingly, newly appointed Shade Agents will be provided with an intensive training programme covering the areas of product knowledge, technical skills and understanding, and customer service.
