LOCATION: Inner city suburb
SITUATION: Waterproof protection was required to cover the front door and porch area, without detracting from the contemporary architecture.
SOLUTION: A single shade sail was employed, with one pole and an awning track to provide a seal between the house and the sail, making sure there was no hollow in which water could pool.
The two-tone grey sail fits in well with the colour scheme of the house, providing both sun and rain protection, and some privacy from passers by on the street above.

LOCATION: Semi-rural area near Albany
SITUATION: Client had a potential "outdoor room" area with a sloping roof and open sides, separated from the house by a wide walkway area which needed to remain accessible.
SOLUTION: The perimeter of the outdoor room was enclosed with custom designed transparent roller blinds, each clipping on to folding eye pads at floor level for quick release.
Transparent blinds preserve the view out to the rural landscape and into the house while protecting the indoor area from from UV, rain and wind. The blinds are easily rolled up to open up the area as desired.
